Day 7 - On the top of the world

Another beautiful morning... I know it must be boring to read it again and again but every morning when I look out of the window and see the sun shining on the top of the mountains around here, it somehow makes me happy. I'm not sure if it's because it reminds me that I'm on holiday or because the surroundings are just simply beautiful. Maybe I should move somewhere nice too.
Today I decided to ski at Parsenn again and go right to the top of Weissfluhgipfel (2844 m) and take some pictures. The plan was to bring my SLR camera but then I would have to ski with it all day, which I didn't think was a good idea. I still managed to take some nice pictures with my little camera, which I keep in my pocket all the time. The view is just breathtaking. When I looked around I felt like on top of the world. All the peaks perfectly carved, covered with sparkling white snow under the beautiful blue sky. No human being could design it so well. I can never get enough of the views here. Every time I look around, either going down the slope or sitting on the lift, I just admire it and can't believe how beautiful and perfect it is. I feel so lucky that I could see it and experience it.To get from the top of the mountain there are only two black runs. I took one of them but it was the other one than I wanted to take. I ended up on a red run going down to Klosters. The signposting was as bad as the one by the Czech roads. I looked on the map about ten times but wasn't much wiser. Luckily I managed to get off it at Schifer and get on the long gondola going back to Weissfluhjoch. The rest of the afternoon I spent skiing on a couple of blue and red runs. Just before 4pm it was time to go home. Today could've been my last chance to ski all the way down to Klosters so I went for it. I loved it. I even managed to stop a few times and take some more pictures on the way. It took almost half an hour and ended right by the train station. From there I took a train back to Davos. When I got home it was already dark. I was rather exhausted. It's been another great day...
